I am moved by how much this woman has been through, and how strong she remains. Her positivity in the face of a “broken” family (in quotes because a family is only as broken as we allow ourselves to be) is an inspiration to me. I love reading her thoughtful, insightful entries regarding her life, and I like that she is very down-to-earth in how she views life.

I honestly think that Serenity and I would get along great, if we are able to meet up and hang out (and she lives relatively close, too!) sometime (insh’allah in the not-too-distant-future). =)

I have a feeling that we have a lot in common, and her personality reminds me a lot of my own. She has a passion for life, and she has pride in her heritage, which I admire greatly.

Serenity is a stellar woman, and it would be a pleasure to meet her. =)
